Our annual Red Mass will be held at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, followed by a dinner reception at the Dallas Petroleum Club Sky Lobby.
The homilist this year is Bishop Richard Malone of the Diocese of Buffalo. Bishop Malone is the chairman of the USCCB Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth, and is a leading defender of the Church's moral teachings and religious liberty.
The Red Mass invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the securing of justice for the coming year. We encourage attendance by all judiciary, attorneys, law faculty, and everyone interested in the rule of law.
The price for the dinner reception following the Red Mass is $60 for STMS members and their guests, and $75 for non-members. This below-cost registration price is made possible by the generosity of our 2016-17 Sponsors.
The reception will include presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Richard Thompson, President & Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center. The Thomas More Law Center took a leading role in defending religious freedom against the contraception mandate.
If you prefer to register by mail, download a registration form and mail it to the address on the form.
Clergy and seminarians are welcome to attend the reception for free. Please RSVP to email@example.com.
We suggest wearing red for the Red Mass (e.g., red ties for men or a red dress or scarf for women).
