Our annual Red Mass will be held at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, followed by a dinner reception at the Dallas Petroleum Club Sky Lobby.

The Most Reverend Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, will be the homilist, and the Most Reverend Edward Burns, Bishop of Dallas, will preside. The reception dinner will include presentation of the St. Thomas More Award to the Honorable Amy Coney Barrett of the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Red Mass invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the securing of justice for the coming year.  We encourage all members of the judiciary, law faculty, lawyers, and everyone interested in the rule of law to attend the Red Mass.

Following the Red Mass there will be a dinner reception. Registration for the dinner is open to members of the judiciary, law faculty, STMS lawyer members, and invitees of the STMS.

The price for the dinner reception is $60 for STMS members and their guests and $75 for non-member invitees.  Please register early, as space is limited and pricing will increase to $80 per person after October 5

Please note that if you have registered or are planning to register for the Catholic Bar Association Conference, your Red Mass dinner is included with the conference registration.

If you prefer to register by mail, download a registration form and mail it to the address on the form.

We suggest wearing red for the Red Mass (e.g., red ties for men or a red dress or scarf for women).
