This was a four week Tuesday morning breakfast series introducing the subject of Thomas More, led by Gerry Wegmer, Ph.D.,  of the University of Dallas.  A $35 fee covered a light breakfast, printed materials, and a copy of Robert Bolt's Man for all Seasons.

st Session:  Thomas More's London; Introduction (a slide presentation showing the major places and events in the life of St. Thomas More; an introduction to what is available about More.)

nd Session:  The Earliest Biographies of St. Thomas More (More's great friend Erasmus and More's son-in-law William Roper (a lawyer) wrote two of the most descriptive and best-loved accounts about More's family and professional life.)

rd Session:  A View of More One Generation Later (No one less renowned than William Shakespeare dared to write about More in a time that More's writings were banned from England.  You will be surprised by the striking portrayal Shakespeare gives.)

th Session:  A Twentieth-Centruy View of More (Robert Bolt's famous play, Man for All Seasons, became an immediate box office success.  Shortly afterwards, Paul Schoefield starred in the movie version that won four academy awards.
