Lenten Prayers & Devotion

The event, led by chapling Fr. Paul Weinberger, began with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with vespers sung in latin (Gregorian chant). At 7:30, there were Lenten hymns, selected readings from Thomas More, and commentary by Gerry Wegemer. At 8 pm, there was compline (i.e. night prayer in latin sung in Gregorian chant) with Benediction, the Divine Praises, and Aspergers (sprinkling with holy water). The evening concluded with an informal reception.
