The 2024 Red Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe. This year's Red Mass homilist is Archbishop Bernard Hebda of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Following the Red Mass there will be a dinner reception at the JW Marriott where we will present the St. Thomas More Award to the Honorable William H. Pryor Jr., who has served as Chief Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit since 2020.
The Red Mass invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the securing of justice for the coming year. We encourage attendance by all judiciary, attorneys, law faculty, and everyone interested in the rule of law.
